The death of Mrs. Lorette Richard of Pré-d'en-Haut, widow of Léo Richard, occurred Friday night at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a lengthy illness. She was 80.

Born in Pré-d'en-Haut, she was a daughter of the late Maximin and Céline (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Her husband died in 1965.

She is survived by six daughters, Càlina of Pré-d'en-Haut, with whom she resided, Antoinette of Montreal, Que., Ida of Hobbima, Alta., Marie of Toronto, Ont., Mrs. Jimmy Pattingdale of Mississuga, Ont., Mrs. John Campbell (Géraldine) of Valleyview, Alta., Mrs. Harold Bellefontaine (Rosella) of West Chezzetcook, N.S.; five sons, Robert of Pré-d'en-Haut, Marc and Rodrique, both of Willowdale, Ont., Roméo of Saint John, Francis of Halifax, N.S.; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Bourque of St. Anselme; 22 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

The body is resting at Dupuis Funeral home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 7:30 from the Notre Dame d'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut. Interment will be in the family lot in the parish cemetery.
